  • 5. Monetary Value of Recycled Aluminum Aluminum cans Recycled aluminum is a precious product, furthermore, aluminum can be used forever. The EPA notes that aluminum is easy to recycle, so there's a wide market for the recycled product. This is another easy way to create income with no effort, and one can make decent money monthly, and let the family participate. If you or your family drink a lot of sodas, cans or plastic bottles can be saved. Tin cans can be saved as well. Only 50% of cans are recycled in this country. Making money while cleaning the environment. Collecting soda cans on the job is a good way to gather extra cans. You can put bags in the brake room, and take them at the end of the day, or on a construction site pick up cans on a shorten lunch, or after your shift. Bring them home when you have a full bag. Handle with care, crush cans have sharp edges. Good idea to wear gloves. You will need about three 55 gallon trash cans or larger, lining them with trash bags. Make sure these trash cans have a lid, one can is for aluminum, one can is for tin (vegetable cans) and the other is for plastic bottles. Crush cans before putting them into trash bin, you should make them as compact as possible. Once the trash bin is full, tie the bag and store. It is always a good idea to give family and neighbors bags to save cans, plastic bottles for you. You will find there are plenty scrap yards around you and most of them take aluminum cans, also there are recycled centers around the city. Call your local government agency to find your local recycling center. Everything is weighed by per pound. For ladies and kids, attendants are on duty at the recycle center, and will unload your vehicle for you. The price fluctuates often, there's been times where I have received $45.00 on a couple bag of cans, and maximum of $150. Recycling helps stop pollution.

  • 7. Get Paid while they sleep Child night care provider Here is an opportunity to make some serious money; child care is an outstanding way to make money. As a parent starts a new job they really dont have the best schedule. But theyre glad to get a job. There are millions of single parents across the country that needs someone to watch their child overnight. Not only is day care is a great opportunity, but night care pays a premium time. Its OK for family to assist in night care, however after awhile it seems like a job. Think about it, a single parent just started a new job working in a hospital, convenience store, assembly plant, or any other place, that parent really needs someone on there side. That's where we come in. It is crucial for them to have an overnight childcare provider. That parent needs the tranquility of a good night care provider, which he/she may do their job with confidence. There are many parents still needing to find an excellent night care provider. We are here to help. After working an 8 hour shift that parent is tired, fatigue, sleepy, hungry, now that parent is going home, and have to attend to their child that has been sleeping to all night. Imagine 11 months -12 months child up and awake. Do you think this parent needs some help? Of course they do! Dont be surprised if the parent brings the child to night care on their day off, just to catch up on some sleep. How many parents out there deserve at least one night of good sleep. This can be very miserable not to have no one in their corner. Now we can be the hero, do you think you will be appreciated, do you think you are worth every dime? Of course! An older child usually makes adjustments faster than the younger children. Some kids find it strange to be in a different home such as toddlers and babies they seem to get a little uneasy, but having the child, to sleep in his own bed is calming. However you can solve this by doing night care in the clients home. To get started with night care, start with a relative or trusted friend, Craigslist, church meetings, word of mouth. As you pick up other clients, you will be investigated; your qualifications will be looked at, and or ridiculed. As your business grow you will need the appropriate license to do business. It is always a good idea if possible to let the child call their parent before bedtime. Keep the child schedule regular as much as possible.
  • 8. Top pay is usually given to night care providers. This is typical, one of the first questions asked is, and how much do you charge? Do not be afraid to set the price this is a needed service, youre not taking advantage of anyone, and you are only here to help. Certainly $75.00 a night is appropriate; two kids $100 per night. Just look on Craiglislist and see child care provider to validate. If youd think thats not fair call around. Anything past an 8 hour shift should transition to an hourly rate. I recommend $12.00 to $15.00 an hour. But in reality a single parent really cant afford to pay $75.00 per night, so make the adjustments accordingly because were here to help. Imagine the shoe on the other foot. Tell that parent its going to get better. In the end they will appreciate you. Believe me they will put the word out, bringing you more clients To get more info about child care click here: Rainbow Interlocking foam Wonder Mats
  • 9. Directory Distributing Deliver phone books Another way to make some extra cash is to deliver phone books, to get started call your local Yellow Page, Sunshine Page or Page you have in your local area, it is usually a toll free number, give them all the necessary information thats needed. It will take about three to five days to follow up. If you are accepted you will have attend a training class. Prior to the training class they want basic information; one important paper is your insurance card for your car, if you dont have this card they will send you away on the spot. You are a independent contractor. After training, the floor is open to all questions. After a route is chosen, you will move to the back of service center location to load up phone books. You set your own hours, and usually get paid 48-72 hours upon completion. At times phone book delivery is not easy work, you need to be in pretty good shape, and you really earn this money, however we all are different. You really need to do everything the night before charting the route, match books with houses. It is best to stay focus on one street at a time, and at times it can be stressful, while you are under a time frame, and this job is much easier with two people. Record those addresses that refuse the book, and return all leftovers. Most confirmations will take place on your route especially if you are a newbie. Not bad pay for a couple of days work. ***Watch out for kids.

  • 12. Lets make a Deal Flea market selling It is very simple to become a flea market vendor, flea market vendors can earn a very good income over the weekend, you can rent booths for $5.00 through $25.00 per weekend, selling at flea markets is a low cost way to make money. Selling at flea markets is fun, exciting, competitive, friendly and business. To find a flea market checked with your local directory or online directory, some vendors alternate weekends at different flea markets. To get started, pick your location, there is usually an office on site telling you what need to get started, most flea market owners are very friendly, they will tell you if you need a tax ID number, or license, prior to start up. Walk location, to see what other vendors are selling, also to see the traffic flow of customers. This will tell you if you want to work this location, and what products to sell. There are many products to sell at flea markets, if you have items in storage, or from previous garage sales or just stuff in your garage it's a great way to get started. Flea market booths usually come with electricity, however each one varies. I've seen vendors with small generators to run calculators and fans. In the summer months it is a good idea to bring a fan. Some flea market owners supplied tables and some don't. It's a good idea to place items in order before selling. Communication and friendliness is the key to selling at flea markets, your personality sells your products, engage with every one that passes your booth. The day before starting out at the flea market go to the bank and get some change, $1.00's $5.00's and $10.00 bills, believe me you will need them.
  • 13. It is essential that you get there early to set up at the flea market, you may want to sell products to other vendors. Some customers get to the flea market very early, early bird gets the worm. Bring help to watch merchandise when you take bathroom breaks. Make contact with other vendors, find out other locations and what products work best. Decorate table, Party City has disposable table coverings. As elementary as it sounds don't forget folding chair, lunch, cooler, drinks, water. Some flea markets have a restaurants and rest rooms, however some flea markets only have porta potties on site, so be prepared with tissue paper and hand sanitizer. Be prepared for changing weather i.e. Sun starting up in your face by the end of the day its at your back, windy conditions most flea markets are outside. Be prepared for little kids touching the items on your table that's part of the business. Customers are looking for savings, they are not looking for retail prices, if you made a sale for $5.00 vs. $8.00 that customer will come back, you still made a sale. Make sure items work at the flea market, put batteries in products/ items. If you are selling and item that does not work tell your customer it does not work. Don't get a reputation of selling items that does not work. Get your Flea Market Guide. Also don't forget personal needs meds, sunglasses, sunscreen, hand sanitizer, lotion. I hope you will enjoy your experience at the flea market. 60 x 126 in. Rectangular Polyester Tablecloth White The Official Directory to U.S. Flea Markets (Official Guide to Us Flea Markets, 7 ed)

To invest into flipping websites it is nothing compared to real estate or the stock markets, you can buy a website for minimum $60-$125 and make a profit of $1200 or more, website flipping is one of the most sizzling opportunities out there on the internet. It is still non existing to many people, you can do this anywhere as long as you have an internet connection. The whole objective of website flipping is to fabricate a website and then get maximum dollar for the website. To show the new owner that this site has potential for expansions for income. Google AdSense is a good way creating income for a site. There are websites such as Flippa. The first thing is think of an idea that is unique, that someone needs, something of demand, a niche. Get all the information you can, about your niche, then compile it to a shorter version. Now you have material for your website. Search the Internet for web hosting plans, they are many to choose from. We use FatCow, of course you decide on your own there is also a Host Gator, GoDaddy, and many many more. The average cost of a domain name is on approximately $3.00-$9.00 so shop around. Building a web site today is so easy no college experience is necessary click and paste makes it so much easier, most hosting companies will give you a platform like Wordpress. Also use Google key word tools. This will help you put certain phrases as keywords a very good tool. Actually this is how Second Income Solutions was started. Lunch and Dinner Fish fry- average $350-$500 per weekend Here is another quick cash small investment, you can purchase 40 lbs of fish at the fish market, for about $45.00, just to get started. We've seen churches that put on fish fry sales, however you can do the same. The average price of a fish plate is $8.00 per plus the drink. Fish fry's have been going on for generations. Catfish is usually the fish of choice. A plate will consist of 3 pieces of fish (half of a fillet) southern fried style, equals 1/2 pound to a 1lb per person, sweet peas or vegetable of your choice, mashed potatoes, french fries, potato salad ( your choice) or hushpuppies, a dessert (usually some kind of cake). • 19. Small change adds up Frozen cups, aka Huck-A-Buck In Louisiana she is called the frozen cup lady, my Granny use to sell frozen cups, here is the definition: a lady who sell juice that has been frozen in a cup, the cost from $0.25-$0.50 cents a cup, she sells it from her house usually to neighborhood kids. Granny had over fifty dollars in a week work of frozen cups. Of course it slows down in the winter months, the kids, and adults sporadically come out. I remember a time when visiting Granny, she would tell me to answer the door, and seems like every 10-15 minutes kids would ring the doorbell. I told Granny hey this is your business, with a chuckle behind it, Granny would look over those glasses with those eyes, and you know what that means, that's all she had to do. Of course I would answer the door, kids at the door can I get four red cups, can I get five blue cups. It sure was fun to see the little kids come over to Granny. Short of $0.25 that was an opportunity for Granny to teach them how to count. Sure miss Sweet Granny. Ingredients: 1 package of unsweetened Kool-Aid (All Flavor), 2 cups sugar, 4 cups warm water, 8-8 oz plastic or Styron foam cups, Mix Kool-Aid, sugar and water until sugar is dissolve. Pour into cups and freeze for at least 4 hours or overnight, certainly to your advantage if you have a large freezer. Once the kids know that you are selling frozen cups, they will line up at your door after school, in the summer months, they will start as early as 10:00 AM, and as late as 8:00 PM. You will get to know the kids in the neighborhood. I've seen kids buy four to five at a time. As of now .25 is the going price for frozen cups.

  • 21. Keep your Garage Clean Garage sale Here is another way to make some quick cash and also by cleaning of your garage or storage. Planning is the key to a successful garage sale. You should plan your garage sale at least 30 days in advance. You can also get together with neighbors friends to create more items to sell. Its a good idea to prepare yourself the night before the sale. Be courteous, polite, and friendly this will enhance your a sale. Start your sale on time! Regardless of the condition of your items do not bad mouth them. Be ready and willing to negotiate, its always a good practice to have change and to keep all the cash in your pocket. Not in a cigar box, yes I have seen this before. Stay focused on your reason for selling, we are here to create quick cash. Pricing your items at a minimum can serve two purposes, the first thing is to clear all unwanted items and secondly to create some quick cash. Announce your garage sale, put ads in the newspaper, ads on Craiglist, ads on Backpage, ads in the penny saver, this is usually done 7 to 10 days in advance. I also use neon signs, directing the traffic to the sale. You can pick these neon poster boards up at HOBBY LOBBY, usually from $0.99 cents a board. Organize your items so that they are not cluttered, entice drive bys by putting better quality items to the street. Its really a good idea to wipe all dust and grime off the items. Small items can be placed on the table with a disposable tablecloth. Again beware kids love to touch, so keep an eye open. If you have an assistant make sure you all are speaking the same language, that the bottom line price is the same. Walk the sale early that morning, look at the pricing, would you be willing to pay that price, if not make the adjustments. Try to see from the customers point of view. Make the atmosphere of the garage sale like a shopping experience. Play music from Pandora music station, a soft pop station, a station of music that will not offend. Offered to test all electrical items prior to a buying this will enhance your sale. Hosting a garage sale in the

  • 25. Helping youngsters after school Home tutor Tutoring can be good for the soul, it's a good feeling to see when one understands, and comprehends what you have taught. Tutoring can put extra income into your pockets and give you fulfillment. If you are 18 years old and tutoring a third grader or whether you are a 50 year old and tutoring sophomore in college it is still the same fulfillment. Most tutors are college students or teachers themselves. Private tutoring is the most common type of tutoring and perhaps the most desirable. Tutoring centers are great however they can be a little pricey. Tutoring can be simple as reading or as complex as math. The best way to tutor is to make it fun, to make it interesting. Tutoring can be done after school, weekends or at the tutor's discretion. Think about all the kids that need help right now. You can tutor everyday or every other day for a couple of hours that's your choice. Reading together can build the child confidence. It also helps build the child self esteem. Once the word gets out that you a great tutor you will have lots of students. You can start by tutoring a friend, family member, advertise. Make it clear and very detailed on what and how you tutor. Once the student grades pick up word of mouth will travel. Keep track of progression, weekly, quarterly. Create a lesson plan, stay in touch with the parents. Keep parents abreast of student progress. Share with parents student deficiencies, and ask for parents support. Most importantly keep it exciting, keep it fun, and create educational games turn it into fun. Depending on the Tutor you can charge by the hour, or by the week. You can

In fact it's one of the greatest businesses in the world, if you Google Pinks, one of the most famous hot dog business in Los Angeles. Billions of hot dogs are being consumed yearly, you can make extra income on the weekends and in the evenings. The initial investment is very small, less than a $100.00. Do you know the hot dog business is recession proof, hot dogs are always in demand. Getting people and signs out at the right intersection is the key to getting good income. Neon signs work best. Bun size hot dogs work best, because customers usually want more than one, add-on's will increase your income ( chili, cheese, onions, chips, drink), we usually make home made chili. Eventually you can step up to a full time stand, but for now you can earn an average of $25.00- $300.00 or more per weekend. Interested in a hot dog business.
