  • 3. How can I support the library? <ul><li>Join the Friends of the Library. </li></ul><ul><li>Memberships start as low as $5.00 for children, $15.00 for individuals, $25.00 per household, $50.00 for supporting members or $250.00 for a lifetime membership. </li></ul>
  • 4. Make a contribution <ul><li>The Friends began an Endowment in 1995, managed by the Arlington Community Foundation, to support the Library collections and programs. </li></ul><ul><li>The Friends have grown the Endowment to use the annual interest to purchase materials in areas not adequately supported by the operating budget.</li></ul><ul><li>Cash donations, bequests, securities, all are welcome.</li></ul>
  • 5. &quot;Buy A Book!&quot; <ul><li>To commemorate a birthday, an anniversary, for a memorial or just for the fun of it!</li></ul><ul><li>With a donation of $25, a bookplate with the name of someone you'd like to pay tribute to will be placed in a new book.</li></ul><ul><li>Look for a &quot;Get Your Name in a Book&quot; donation envelope for at all libraries. </li></ul>
  • 6. Buy a book for you! <ul><li>Purchase your books from “MY LIBRARY BOOKSTORE” on the library homepage. </li></ul><ul><li>A portion of every purchase goes to the Friends of the Arlington Public Library to help support the library's collections and programs. </li></ul>
  • 7. Your support makes a difference <ul><li>Your tax-deductible contribution goes toward materials, programs and events, and helps to grow our endowment.</li></ul><ul><li>The Friends of the Arlington Public Library welcome donations.</li></ul>
