    Scope of report

    This report covers companies involved in direct retail of goods in the value chain of supply and demand of Business-to-Businesscommerce. The companies that are included have a vendor facing platform in form of either listing, selling or connecting buyer andsellers of goods and products used by businesses/resellers. Please note that the companies which enable or create tools for commerceare outside the scope of this report.Over $124M has been invested in the sector since 2006, with $94M invested in the last 15 months and over $75M in the first threemonths of 2016 alone in 15 deals. B2B commerce space has seen exponential growth in investments and funding with major investmentsbeing in Marketplace space with over $67M in 26 funding rounds since 2012. Out of the 208 companies, 25 companies have been fundedas of March 2016.
