Pre-reading Pupils read the story on page 76 using correct pronunciation, stress and intonation by repeating after teacher

While-reading (Group/pair activity) Pupils rearrange the pictures with the correct sequence. Pupils match the paragraph to the correct pictures. Pupils discuss the answers with teacher.

Post-reading (Individual) Pupils read the paragraphs. Pupils find the meaning list of words highlighted by teacher in the dictionary.

Closure (Whole-class) Pupils draw the double flow map to show the sequence of the story.
