The certification preparation course, taught at Mercyhurst by a Certified HR Professional, helped test takers surpass the national exam pass rate by 25 percent last year (The national exam pass rate averages 60 percent, while professionals enrolled in Mercyhursts preparation course demonstrated an 85 percent pass rate). Taught on campus during
convenient evening hours, the SHRM course will not only enhance your education, but will continue to grow the HR field worldwide.
This unique graduate course utilizes the SHRM Learning System to helps students streamline study time, accelerate learning and build confidence to pass the SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP exam. To be eligible to take the exam applicants must either log 1,000 hours of HR experience in a calendar year, which is equivalent to one years experience in a human resources position. SHRM membership is not required to earn the new SHRM certification.
