  • Hostility- Negative Effects Definition: The intentional use of unfriendly or nasty behavior Can affect not only others but can also affect your own health Those who are constantly hostile are 4-7 times more likely to develop heart disease Silent seethers are more like to die early then those who are even openly hostile

  • Dealing with Emotions Look below surface of problem See if the problem will matter tomorrow, next week or next year Do not take action with strong emotion until you have had time to think about it Remember, feelings are feelings; not facts Strong feelings can be used as a sign. Think about those feelings

  • Continued Use positive feelings to inspire you. Use upset feelings to motivate you Remember your not alone, everyone has strong feelings If the feeling doesnt go away, seek help from a parent, a trusted person, or a professional
