1. PREPARED BY NIJAZ N 2. Messages can be communicated through gestures and touch, body language or posture, facial expression and eye contact. The process of communication through sending and receiving wordless cues between people. 3. Facial expressions : happiness, sadness, anger, surprise, fear, and disgust . Body movements and posture : how your perceptions of people are affected by the way they sit, walk, stand up, or hold their head. Gestures : wave, point, beckon, and use our hands when were arguing or speaking. Eye Contact : someone can communicate many things, including interest, affection, hostility, or attraction. 4. Touch : a weak handshake, a timid tap on the shoulder, a warm bear hug, a reassuring slap on the back, a patronizing pat on the head, or a controlling grip on your arm. Space : You can use physical space to communicate many different nonverbal messages, including signals of intimacy and affection, aggression or dominance. Voice: 5. Is a form of mental and physical ability of human non-verbal communication, consisting of body posture, gestures, facial expressions, and eye movements. 6. Neuro-Linguistic Programming describes the fundamental dynamics between mind (neuro) and language (linguistic) and how their interplay affects our body and behavior (programming). Created by Richard Bandler and John Grinder in California, USA in the 1970s 10. Listening means attentiveness and interest perceptible in the posture as well as expressions. Communication cannot take place until and unless a message is heard and retained thoroughly and positively by the receivers/listeners. 11. 1. Discover your interests field. 2. Step into the shoes of others, i.e., put yourself in the position of the speaker and observe things from his view point. This will help creating an atmosphere of mutual understanding and improve the exchange of ideas in communication process. 12. Communication through visual aid .
